PakFiscal is an independent publication. Its analysis is designed to make public-finance information easier to read, not to replace the underlying record.

Check the source and scope
We work from official publications and identify source institutions where practical. A figure on this site may be transcribed, rounded, calculated, grouped or displayed at a different level from its source. Federal and provincial statements can use different accounting boundaries and labels. Read the source note, period, unit and scope alongside the figure, and consult the original publication before making a consequential decision.
Plans are not outcomes
Budgets, demands, estimates, targets, proposals, forecasts, revised estimates, appropriations, releases and audited results describe different stages or measures. Publication of a proposal or request does not mean it has been approved. PakFiscal aims to label these distinctions, but summaries may omit detail or become outdated when an institution publishes a revision.
