Terms of use

Terms of use

These terms cover your use of PakFiscal’s public website, reporting, data visualisations and, if authorised, the protected Explorer.

Last updated: 2 October 2026. By accessing or using PakFiscal, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. “PakFiscal”, “we” and “us” refer to the publisher operating this independent public-finance website.

What the site provides

PakFiscal publishes reporting, analysis, summaries, calculations, visualisations and a protected analytical workspace concerning public finance. Public pages are generally available for reading. Explorer access requires credentials supplied by the publisher and may be limited, changed or withdrawn. No fee, subscription or service level is promised by these public terms.

Permitted use

You may access and use the site for lawful personal, educational, journalistic, research and business purposes. You agree not to:

  • break the law, infringe another person’s rights, or use the site to deceive, threaten or harm others;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access, bypass account controls, interfere with the site or its security, or test it in a way that could disrupt service;
  • use automated means to place unreasonable load on the site, defeat technical limits, or systematically collect or republish substantial portions of PakFiscal’s original reporting, databases or visualisations without permission;
  • share, transfer or expose Explorer credentials, or use an account beyond the access the publisher granted; or
  • remove source, attribution, copyright or other rights notices when reusing material where those notices are required.

These limits do not remove rights that applicable law gives you, including lawful quotation, criticism, research, accessibility or other exceptions.

Sources, rights and reuse

PakFiscal’s original articles, explanatory text, selection and arrangement, and original visual design are owned by or licensed to the publisher, except where a page states otherwise. Government documents, source data, quotations, third-party images and other referenced material may belong to their respective owners and may have separate reuse terms. A source link or public availability does not itself grant a licence to reproduce the source.

You may link to PakFiscal pages and share ordinary links. For republication, commercial redistribution, bulk extraction, reuse of an original chart or substantial text, or access to underlying protected material, obtain permission or follow the specific licence stated for that material. When using figures or short quotations where permitted, identify PakFiscal and the original source, link to the source where practical, and preserve the relevant period, unit and scope. Contact the publisher through the contact form for permission questions.

Information is not professional advice

Site content is general reporting and analysis. It is not legal, tax, accounting, investment, lending or other professional advice, and it is not a substitute for the relevant official publication or advice tailored to your circumstances. Budgets, proposals, estimates, forecasts and official decisions are different things; check the date, scope and status of each figure before relying on it.

Accuracy and availability

We take care with sources and calculations, but public documents can change, contain errors or be interpreted differently. We provide the site and its content on an “as available” basis and do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free content, or that a figure is complete or current for every purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes a guarantee or right that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, the publisher is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, business, opportunity or data, or decisions made in reliance on site content or an external site. This does not exclude liability that applicable law does not permit to be excluded, including any non-waivable consumer rights.

Protected accounts

If the publisher gives you an Explorer account, keep your credentials confidential, use your own account, and tell the publisher promptly if you suspect unauthorised use. The publisher may suspend or revoke access where needed to protect the service, enforce these terms, or respond to a security or legal issue. Account access is personal to the authorised user unless the publisher expressly agrees otherwise.

External sites

Links to official sources, service providers and other websites are provided for convenience and attribution. Those sites have their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control or endorse every external page and are not responsible for its availability or content.

Changes and applicable rights

We may revise these terms or change site features; the revision date above identifies the current published version. Continued use after a revision takes effect means you accept the revised terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. The laws and courts that apply to a dispute depend on the circumstances and any mandatory rules in the place where you live or use the site. Nothing here removes non-waivable consumer or other mandatory rights.

Questions about these terms, a permission request or a rights concern can be sent through the contact form. For concerns about a published statement, see our editorial policy.
